  • Who is this course for?

    For beginners in French who do not want to waste time learning vocabulary that they will not use immediately. For learners who already have knowledge but who want to acquire a solid vocabulary base to speak more easily.

  • What is this course?

    This is a course to be taken online, in complete autonomy. The course is designed to study one lesson per day. But you have access to all the lessons as soon as you register, so you can advance at your own pace.
    You have access to the course 24 hours a day on computer, mobile or tablet. You are therefore free to organize yourself as you wish.

  • When and how will I access the online course?

    At the end of the payment, you will have direct access to the course. You can start as soon as you want!

  • How much time should I spend on training?

    It depends on your current level in French.
    If you already have some knowledge, you can plan about 45 minutes per lesson.
    If you are a beginner, plan 1 hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes instead.

  • Why will this course help me master 80% of the words used in French conversations?

    The course is based on a frequency list and therefore targets the words most commonly used in spoken French.
    The frequency list I used for this course is made up of words from conversations of 275 people, which took the form of questions and answers.
    I extracted the 675 words that were most frequently used during these conversations. For each word, I added one or more simple examples of use, in total about 1,100 examples.
    When you have learned the 675 words and 1,100 examples, you will have acquired about 1,000 common French words.
    As linguistic studies show that:
    ¤ 300 French words are enough to get by on a daily basis
    ¤ a French person uses 300 to 3,000 words each day, depending on his level of education
    ¤ the basic vocabulary is composed of 800 to 1,600 words
    ¤ 600 words cover 90% of texts written in French
    ¤ the 1,000 most frequent words of a language can cover up to 85% of a conversation
    At the end of the 2 months of training, if you follow diligently the training and if you do all the revisions and exercises, you will master 80% of the words that the French use the most in their conversations.
